Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive and transfer to Bentota, the premier water-sports capital of the island. Spend the evening walking the pristine beach and relaxing.
Embark on a private boat safari on the Madu River, navigating dense mangrove arches. Visit the cinnamon processing island and a Buddhist temple island. Later, visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Hatchery and release baby turtles into the sea.
Check out and drive further south. Spend your afternoon wandering the historic pathways of Galle Dutch Fort. Watch the sunset from the lighthouse ramparts before arriving in Mirissa.
Rise early for an unforgettable whale-watching tour in Mirissa. In the afternoon, take a picturesque photo walk at Coconut Tree Hill, an iconic grove of palms on a small cliff.
Enjoy a final swim. Drive back to Colombo for standard souvenir shopping, and then proceed directly to the airport for your flight.
